June – Coming out of COVID-19 for Owners Corporations (panel webinar)
Most Docklanders live in high-rise apartments. So when COVID19 hit our Vertical Villages, volunteer Owners Corporation Committees (OCCs) had to make many on-the-run decisions about managing our shared facilities. As there was little guidance available to assist OCCs with these decisions, the DRG hosted Strata Lawyer, Tom Bacon, and representatives from the Department of Justice and Community Safety to discuss two COVID-19 challenges – Managing Common Property & OC Funding.
September – Re-Imagining Victoria Harbour – (Imagine IF Webinar)
Victoria Harbour is central to the identity of Docklands – and its future will shape the nature of our precinct. As many locals expressed concerned about “Harbour Happenings“, the DRG brought together Development Victoria, City of Melbourne and the Yarra Riverkeeper Association to talk about the history and health of our harbour, followed by four local groups sharing their ideas for the harbour’s future!
